Synopsis
Galo Sengen (also known as "Galish Man GAL" in English and as GAL男宣言 in Japanese) is a 2011 rap music video created by the Japanese hip-hop group Policeman. The animated music video gained popularity for its comedic take on the Japanese youth subculture called "Gyaruo," distinguished by deeply tanned skin, bleached blond hair, and a fondness for dance music. In the video, a group of men are satirically shown as Super Saiyans—the superhuman fighters from the Japanese manga series Dragon Ball—who undergo a transformation into a "galish" or "gyaru" state, a slang term that comes from the Japanese pronunciation of the English word "girl."
