Synopsis

In the 1910s, Iwamoto Kodo, a student at Suho Junior High School operating under direct military orders, travels across the country to investigate supernatural occurrences on behalf of the army. Arriving in a village infamous for its "black snow," he meets a boy gifted with special abilities who regards them as a curse. With Iwamoto's reassurance, the boy gradually reconsiders his powers and is eventually recommended for admission to the school. Each new location Iwamoto visits brings fresh mysteries, establishing the foundation for a romantic story set within this historical era.
