Synopsis
The animated work "Kikumana" focuses on a girl named Kikumana who behaves as though she is in a stage performance, playing a role that is overcome by unfortunate circumstances despite her attempts to find herself. The primary goal is to evoke a strange atmosphere in the audience from this piece. The visuals combine a painterly quality with a documentary feel. Unrealistic phenomena occur within it.
