Broken Down Film

Synopsis

A scene from the American animated piece called "Dudley Do Right" depicts a queen tied to a railroad track with ropes, shouting "Help!" This kind of image was frequently used in serial action films from the silent comedy period. In this short film, a western-style hero confronts a villain and saves a beautiful woman in the same situation. However, this classical scene is marred, blurred, and smudged due to the film being very old. Consequently, the hero not only must fight the villain but also has to struggle hard against the poor condition of the film itself.
