Duwei arrives in a strange new world from Earth, saying nothing and showing no reaction, so unremarkable that he barely draws any notice. Over time, he stays completely silent, nursing a deep bitterness about being forced into this life. Though his father is a renowned Great General, every attempt to uncover any talent in Duwei fails, resulting in him being labeled the Retarded heir and cast out by his family. The tale follows Duwei as he sets out to discover the hidden truths of this world, applying the knowledge from his previous life to fight against the scornful identity thrust upon him—even if that means walking the path of a devil.
In this installment
After a coup in the imperial capital, Duwei is granted the title Duke of Tulip. To save Raymond’s life, Duwei picks the impoverished northwestern province of Desa as his domain. Using his strategic mind, combat abilities, and magic, Duwei extends his territory. He creates a mighty magical army, tricks dragons, eliminates grassland tribes, and overcomes the northwestern rebels. With every storm he unleashes and enemy he vanquishes, Duwei writes a new chapter in this unstable realm.
