Synopsis
Continues the story of A Returner's Magic Should Be Special
After battling monsters inside the Shadow Labyrinth—a malevolent dark cloud threatening to consume the world and annihilate all existence—mage Desir Herrman and his five allies face their final enemy: the destructive dragon Boromir Napolitan. Though they defeat this powerful creature, the immense mana within the dragon triggers an uncontrollable explosion, destroying the remaining world. Miraculously, instead of dying, Desir finds himself sent back ten years in time, retaining all his memories of the future. Upon enrolling at Hebrion Academy, he makes it his mission to eliminate the class-based prejudices prevalent in the magical community, which he knows will ultimately lead to humanity's downfall. This challenge becomes apparent right from the entrance exams, where despite achieving the highest score in his group, Desir is placed in the Beta Class, typically reserved for commoners. With renewed resolve, Desir aims to recruit wind mage Romantica Eru, whom he was unable to save in his previous life. With this new team assembled, Desir must work to gain entry into the prestigious Alpha Class in order to maximize his impact in saving countless lives.
