Synopsis
Continues the story of Chained Soldier
As high school student Yuuki Wakura nears graduation, he frets over his future and yearns for something out of the ordinary. His desire is granted in an unexpected manner when he is transported into Mato, a parallel dimension inhabited by dangerous monsters known as Shuuki. Since the discovery of Mato, accidental incursions from the human world have become more frequent. To counteract the Shuuki threat and rescue people like Yuuki, the all-female Demon Defense Force was created. Its members obtain supernatural abilities by consuming "Peaches," special fruits exclusive to Mato that bestow powers solely on women. When Yuuki finds himself in a dire predicament, he is rescued by Kyouka Uzen, the commander of the Demon Defense Force's seventh unit. Though Kyouka is a formidable fighter, her Peach-granted ability, Slave—which allows her to command and harness the strength of another—has been restricted because of the weakness of the Shuuki she has previously controlled. Trapped by a swarm of Shuuki, Kyouka decides to try her power on a male target for the first time, selecting Yuuki. To her surprise, Yuuki's prowess as her slave far surpasses her expectations. Convinced that Yuuki is the key to realizing her full potential, Kyouka invites him to join the Demon Defense Force—though not as a standard member.
