Synopsis

The three truths brought by the Autonomous Interstellar Object from a distant galaxy created an age of great abundance, allowing people to reach across the whole solar system. The power to manipulate gravity. Communication that outpaced light. The ability to shape matter from thought itself. But not even ten years after these gifts arrived, the very object that delivered them went out of control, giving rise to a violent, ever-growing system of its own making. This unknown ecosystem would be known by the world only as the Apocalypse. Those on Earth battled the Apocalypse to an uneasy draw in orbit above the planet. After a battle lasting three endless months, they were left with no choice but to leave the Earth behind. That year became the inaugural year of the Apocalypse Era: A.A. 1. By A.A. 45, children conceived on the Moon and in the far-flung space colonies had known nothing else but the presence of the Apocalypse in their lives.
