Phantom of the Idol

Synopsis

Kazuki Yoshino and Yuuya Niyoda are the two members of the idol group ZINGS. Kazuki pours his heart into every performance, while Yuuya sees the job as nothing more than a paycheck. His lack of interest in the fans and his half-hearted attitude lead his manager to warn him that he needs to shape up or risk being fired. One day backstage, Yuuya meets Asahi Mogami, an idol in a flashy costume who passed away a year ago but still longs to perform for her fans. When she sees how little Yuuya cares about being an idol, she becomes furious and insists on taking his place. The next thing he knows, Yuuya wakes up to find Asahi has taken over his body, letting her do the work while he sits back. Yuuya thinks this means he can coast through an easy idol life with Asahi handling everything. But Asahi has other ideas. She wants to rekindle Yuuya's passion and uses her possession to push him toward becoming a great idol duo. Can someone who only cares about money ever learn to share the devotion Asahi still holds?
