The Aquatope on White Sand

Synopsis

After leaving the idol industry, Fuuka Miyazawa chooses to go to Okinawa instead of returning to Morioka, seeking comfort in a place she doesn't know. Without a clear goal and burdened by sorrow, she wanders until she stumbles upon Gama Gama Aquarium, a small facility facing closure due to financial troubles and a lack of visitors. The aquarium is barely keeping itself running, needing expensive repairs and drawing few customers to bring in money. The facility's director is considering shutting down by the end of summer, which greatly upsets his granddaughter, Kukuru Misakino, a passionate lover of sea life. She is determined to gather enough funds in time to keep the aquarium open. Captivated by the aquarium's unique charm, Fuuka asks for a job, but soon discovers that her lack of experience makes her more of a burden than an asset. At the same time, Kukuru struggles with the realization that her ambitious fundraising goals may be out of reach. As pressure mounts, can Kukuru and Fuuka manage to save the place that has become so meaningful to both of them?
