Synopsis
Two centuries ago, at the Battlefield of the Blue River, the final army of the Empire of Light was shattered amid the howls of demons. With the last Field Marshal and Emperor fallen, the chaotic lands of the Western River no longer had a single sovereign. Rival factions formed and endless wars broke out; military might became the only currency of survival, and the dream of reuniting the realm drove every ruler in the generations that followed. In the southeastern part of the land, a powerful house with over two hundred years of history—House Zichuan—held back the Demons to the east, fended off House Liufeng to the west, and kept House Lin in check to the south. To fulfill their grand ambitions and carry on the family bloodline, countless heroes of Zichuan laid down their lives to bring this magnificent hymn to life. This is the story of that legendary family, and of a hundred years of their blood and tears.
