
Synopsis
Continues the story of Ai Yori Aoshi
In "Ai Yori Aoshi," Kaoru Hanabishi, a college student living by himself, encounters a confused girl dressed in a kimono at a train station. He helps her find the address she is looking for, which turns out to be near his place, but the location is just an empty lot. With no other option, he brings the bewildered girl to his apartment and asks more about where she was trying to go. She then shows a photo of two children, and Kaoru immediately recognizes them as himself and his childhood friend, Aoi Sakuraba. He realizes the girl is Aoi Sakuraba, his fiancée, who has come to Tokyo to marry him. This sudden reunion shocks Kaoru and brings back painful memories of why he left the Hanabishi family.
In this installment
Two years have passed since Aoi and Kaoru were released from their family duties, and their lives have continued to develop. Kaoru is now attending graduate school, while the others in their household maintain their energetic personalities. The story explores the changing bond between Aoi and Kaoru as they go through everyday life together with their close friends in their shared residence.
