The Wild Swans

Synopsis

A king who has been widowed finds himself trapped in a dangerous forest and must marry a witch's daughter to escape. The new queen, Greta, grows resentful because the king devotes so much attention to his children. One night, she sneaks into the children's room and uses magic to transform six of the king's sons into swans. Only the youngest child, a daughter named Elisa, is left unchanged and must face the ordeal alone. Determined to save her brothers, Elisa sets off on a long journey and eventually discovers them living in a hidden cave. Though she is overjoyed to be reunited, she sees how deeply the curse has affected them and becomes determined to break it, no matter the cost.
