Synopsis

Long ago, in a distant realm, the world was split into two regions: an inner land and an outer land. The outer land was feared by people, as it was home to eerie beings known as the carriers of curse. One day, at the border of the inner land where humans lived, one such being discovered a girl lying atop a pile of abandoned corpses. She introduced herself as Shiva and, showing affection toward the creature who found her, began calling him "Teacher." Thus unfolds the tale of two souls—one human, one not—dwelling in the ambiguous twilight that separates night from day. Note: Originally released as a movie-length OVA. As streaming on Crunchyroll, it is split into three standard-length episodes.
