Continues the story of MegaMan NT Warrior: Axess
In MegaMan NT Warrior: Axess, Netto's father Yuuichirou Hikari makes a major scientific breakthrough by creating "synchro chips." These chips enable an operator and their NetNavi to fuse together in the physical world through a process called "cross fusion," but only when they are inside a specific location known as a "dimensional area." Yuuichirou's first test subject, Misaki Gorou, undergoes the procedure but it ends in failure. Netto then offers to participate alongside Rockman, but his father refuses due to the extreme danger involved. The cross fusion process places tremendous strain on the operator's body, and engaging in physical combat could prove fatal.
In this installment
A comet blazes across the sky, casting light upon the world beneath. At that moment, a massive viral power breaches the real world, devastating everything in its path. Netto and Enzan activate cross fusion to combat the threat, but are unexpectedly teleported to a strange location. There, they confront Duo, the one responsible for the attack.
