Synopsis
At the start of the 21st century, humanity has terraformed and established colonies on Mars. However, extraterrestrial life exists. An ancient alien species, simply referred to as "The Gods," has been observing humanity's development—and biding their time. Now these enigmatic beings have come back to forcibly stop mankind's spaceward expansion. The red planet, named after the deity of war, is set to be humanity's last battleground. People wage a desperate conflict using cutting-edge military technology: ultra-sophisticated planes, space-based fighters, and colossal desert warships equipped with the most advanced armaments. Yet is that sufficient? The aliens possess terrifyingly powerful tools of destruction—among them "Hell," an unstoppable stealth carrier. However, their most dangerous weapon operates silently and invisibly: a mind-control plaque. It is incurable, unavoidable, and contagious. No human can withstand its influence; it turns even the most faithful troops into treacherous saboteurs. Humanity's final hope rests on Captain Akuh and his crew aboard the Battleship Aoba. Should his classified mission succeed, mankind will strike a critical hit against the alien fleet. But Akuh's girlfriend is exhibiting signs of nymphomania—the earliest indicator of alien mind control!
