When mysterious vaults resembling dungeons suddenly appeared around the globe, many people took up the perilous career of treasure hunting, braving these dangerous sites to find immense wealth and ancient artifacts. In the imperial capital of Zebrudia, the most renowned treasure hunting crew is the Grieving Souls, a team of six close childhood friends led by Krai Andrey. Krai is considered the group's strongest member due to his supposedly vast range of abilities. But Krai's strength is merely an illusion; he has no exceptional talents and depends heavily on his friends' extraordinary powers. Afraid that his own weakness might endanger his comrades, Krai has tried multiple times to leave the team. However, because everyone around him steadfastly believes in his leadership, Krai is forced to keep guiding the Grieving Souls.
In this installment
Krai Andrey, one of Zebrudia's rare Level 8 treasure hunters, leads the capital's top party, Grieving Souls. However, his high status is undeserved; his words unintentionally come true, making others believe he has deep wisdom, even though he lacks real skill. Aware of his luck, Krai finds the burden of these expectations growing heavier. As his teammates keep amazing the world with their accomplishments, his hope for a peaceful retirement moves further away.
