Synopsis
Continues the story of Akuma-kun
The era of darkness has arrived, as demons begin to stir across the world. Dr. Faust, having foreseen this looming threat, finds himself too near death to take up arms against it himself. In his final hours, he places the burden on a young boy named Shingo Yamada, chosen to stand against the coming evil. Faust identifies a birthmark on Shingo's forehead, a mark that reveals him as humanity's destined champion. From the depths of hell, Faust summons a devil who may be their last hope—though it's none other than a apathetic demon by the name of Mephisto. With a blood pact sealed to safeguard the human race, Shingo and Mephisto embark together, venturing into a world of supernatural conflict and the forces that lie beyond mortal understanding.
In this installment
At the Millennium Research Institute, a special counseling office that handles strange requests, lives Ichirou Umoregi, known as Akuma-kun—a gifted boy hailed as a genius born only once every ten thousand years. Unaware of his own origins, Akuma-kun works alongside his partner, Mephisto III. While investigating puzzling cases, they also work to solve the mystery of Akuma-kun’s past, weaving an intriguing story of an unusual detective duo.
