In a world filled with magic and strange creatures, Krylancelo Finrandi and his foster sister Azalie Cait-Sith were once celebrated as brilliant sorcery students at the prestigious Tower of Fangs. But a disastrous experiment transforms Azalie into a dragon. Rather than addressing the safety of their students, the Tower's elders force Azalie into exile and cover up the incident. Enraged by this injustice, Krylancelo leaves under the alias "Orphen," vowing to restore Azalie to her human form. After five years of fruitless searching, Orphen encounters Azalie again, but he still cannot reverse her transformation. Meanwhile, a group of malevolent sorcerers pursues them. As past and present converge, Orphen races against time to free Azalie from the grasp of their former guardians and allies.
