Synopsis
Chosen by the esteemed Shinju-sama as heroes, three young women are assigned to fight Vertexes, malevolent beings threatening global peace. Sumi Washio, Sonoko Nogi, and Gin Minowa, who once led idle lives waiting for their call to action, are suddenly thrust into a Vertex attack. Their initial lack of coordination as magical girls nearly leads to their defeat. Through sheer determination, they manage to triumph over their enemy, leading to a resolution to improve their teamwork and fighting abilities after the battle. As new dangers arise and demand increased power, the girls face the risk of irreversible changes from their magic. They must weigh the cost of victory and decide whether such a sacrifice is worthwhile for the survival of humanity.
Background
The first six episodes of the second season of TV anime "Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru" will adapt "Washio Sumi wa Yuusha de Aru." Prior to the broadcast, the episodes are being screened theatrically as three movies.
