Synopsis

Bai Ze, a healer from Kunlun, was exiled after inadvertently destroying an island while seeking a cure for the deadly illness known as Hei Ling. Seven years later, he returns to the same island in hopes of redemption. The Kunlun realm consists of many islands, all threatened by Dark Spirits—a poisonous essence that can cause lasting psychological harm. Bai Ze once tried to protect the healing island from these Dark Spirits using an experimental theory, but his actions led to the island's complete destruction and his subsequent banishment by the masters. Returning now, he aims to vindicate himself with new findings, only to become entangled in a conspiracy. After escaping that trap, he heads back to the ruined healing island, where he encounters Yi, a qilin whose horn is growing at an abnormally slow pace. Overcome with despair, the young qilin is on the verge of succumbing to the Dark Spirits' corruptive influence. As Bai Ze struggles to prove his innocence and treat Yi's critical condition, what decision will he make? Can he dispel the Dark Spirits and bring healing?
