One Way or Another

Synopsis

Amid the Chaotian Continent, a young wanderer returns to the starting point of their travels, carrying the burden of a blade both at their neck and inside their soul. Jing Jiu lives in a remote mountain village until he suddenly becomes the teacher of Liu Shisui, a child gifted with natural aptitude for Taoist cultivation. The two eventually arrive at the Qingshan Sect, where Jing Jiu's unremarkable looks provoke disapproval, particularly because he has taken the prodigious Liu Shisui as his disciple. During a sword distribution ceremony, Jing Jiu meets Zhao Layue, a skilled expert from Shenmo Peak who is known for her easygoing attitude. Though he wishes to pursue cultivation in peace, Jing Jiu gets drawn into a larger struggle involving numerous groups. Beneath the endless Taixu, the green peaks appear far off, yet they remain near.
