Synopsis
In a world where martial artists possessing special bones and extraordinary abilities are called Qiwu, some have sided with the imperial court to establish the "Duwu Division" for the sake of order, while others, driven by ambition, formed the "Zhenwu Society" during periods of chaos. Set during the early Tang Dynasty, the Zhenwu Society throws the realm into upheaval. Yun Xinxiao, a directionless drifter summoned to the capital, joins the Chang An Duwu Division amid the crisis. Following a strange bone transformation, Yun Xinxiao gains unique powers. Alongside comrades in the Duwu Division, including Shi Nan and Themis, Yun Xinxiao moves through the city from its lively streets to the imperial palace. Their goal is to uncover the truth behind the death of Yun Xinxiao's brother, Yun Xinyao, identify the mastermind Bu Wenjun, and stop a massive terrorist attack aimed at the ruling emperor and the age of prosperity. The path of vengeance and protection is full of unknowns, and Yun Xinxiao's choices will shape the destiny of Chang An.
