The Marginal Service

Synopsis

In "The Marginal Service," Brian Nightraider, a former decorated police officer now disgraced and dismissed after a series of reckless decisions that led to his partner's death, sinks into hopelessness. Out of nowhere, he is recruited by the United Nations Immigration Bureau Special Investigation Unit to join the secret Marginal Service, a covert UN branch dedicated to handling Borderlanders. These Borderlanders are alien beings that look human and coexist peacefully with society. But a terrorist faction among them has begun manufacturing and distributing a highly addictive substance called Confu. Because Borderlanders can regenerate and blend seamlessly into human life, stopping this drug operation proves extremely difficult. Despite these challenges, the Marginal Service's eccentric team presses on, even after discovering that some of their own members are Borderlanders.
