Synopsis
Osamu Tezuka intended to produce an animated version of Neo Faust, but the effort was abandoned several times. This work was designed to realize his concept, but he became sick and died before finishing the synopsis. Therefore, it stands among his incomplete projects. The series was broadcast as a segment of NHK's "Tezuka Osamu, Seikimatsu e no Message" (手塚治虫・世紀末へのメッセージ) program.
