
Synopsis
In "Jurassic War," Niu sets out on a journey to find the Papo Spring in order to rouse her slumbering tribe, which was put under a spell by the dark magic of the wizard Ferrox. With Imp and Zar at her side, she travels through multiple dinosaur tribes to collect relics representing water, fire, wood, iron, and earth. However, Ferrox and his followers constantly block their progress, leading to a final confrontation that will decide the fate of the Gondua continent.
Background
The show is loosely based on Korean strategy game with the same title. It was produced for two years by Korean studio Raon Pictures, and notably a French studio sponsored 25% of work while getting the right of distributing it in Europe. American program distributor Moonlight and Canada's AB Production got the contracts for distribution in the U.S. and Canadian markets on TV. In the U.S. the airing began in the second quarter of the year of 2003 and in Canada - in the first quarter. The show was also airing on Arirang TV and Toonyverse. In 2005 the rights were reserved by Insomnia World Sales (France) for the Russian dubbing. It was distributed on DVD in 2008.
