Synopsis

In the Teppen Grand Prix, a tournament modeled after stand-up comedy, Yayoi Sakamoto teams up with her two friends, Yomogi Takahashi and Yuzu Hosono, to create the comedy trio Young Wai-Wai. They advance to the final stage of the competition, where they face off against other comedic groups, with only one team ultimately declared the victor. Living in a famous dormitory that has been home to numerous accomplished comedians, the contestants get an opportunity to demonstrate their skill at generating laughter so powerful that it moves people to tears.
