Synopsis
Continues the story of Asobi Asobase: Workshop of Fun
During a break between lessons, Olivia, an exchange student who struggles with English, initiates a game of "look-the-other-way" with Hanako Honda, a loud and scatterbrained classmate. Their playful behavior irritates Kasumi Nomura, a quiet girl with a stoic demeanor who is frequently mocked by her older sister for always losing at games. Although Kasumi first declines Olivia's invitation to join, she eventually relents and starts introducing her own unique twists to the fun. Gradually, an unusual friendship develops among these three unconventional girls, prompting them to establish the "Pastime Club" as a space to freely indulge in their playful mischief. From Olivia's difficulties in learning English to Hanako's relentless pursuit of popularity and her frequent run-ins with teachers, school life becomes anything but ordinary due to the trio's endless stream of comical pranks.
In this installment
After getting the green light to present their film at the school festival, the Pastime Club members excitedly brainstorm possible outfits for the occasion. Their discussion grows lively, leading the three to start testing out their costume concepts. Meanwhile, the Film Studies Club uses a Macintosh computer, donated by Chisato Higuchi's father, to write letters addressed to themselves fifteen years in the future. Though they outline grand goals and commitments, the real situations they end up facing turn out quite different from what they first imagined.
