Synopsis

The daily aggravations of working as public employees are humorously portrayed through the experiences of three new hires. Lucy Yamagami intends to get revenge on the civil servant who gave her an absurdly long name; Yutaka Hasebe, a laid-back procrastinator, looks for ways to dodge tasks; and Saya Miyoshi, a nervous beginner, starts her professional life. Their training is meant to be led by Taishi Ichimiya, a worker who has been there for eight years and appears experienced, yet he cannot teach them properly. Confronted with a useless mentor and tough encounters with citizens, the three start to doubt their choice of profession. Still, they encourage each other to keep up their determination and do their utmost despite the hurdles.
