Synopsis
Based on Okawa Etsuo's work, this story is set in 1937. A mother who is raising seven children sees her three oldest sons leave for war. To pin her hopes on something, she plants paulownia tree seeds in her home and prays to these trees every day, hoping for her sons' safe return.
