Synopsis
In the peaceful seaside town of Atami, Wakana Kinme runs Kinme Cleaning, a laundry service. Though she has no recollection of her previous life, she has built a steady existence over the last two years. With gentle care and precise attention, she handles the garments brought to her, aware that the memories tied to these items are often more delicate than the fabric itself. As Wakana becomes a familiar face around town, she engages in thoughtful, subtle exchanges with the locals. Through the clothes she cleans, she uncovers fragments of her customers' lives, safeguarding their memories while her own remain hidden. Her work of washing away both the physical grime and the emotional burdens of the townspeople serves as a quiet reminder of finding solace in everyday routines, proving that one can still feel a sense of belonging without a known past.
