Synopsis

While exploring the South China Sea, Qianlang and Yanzi were swept into the water by a sudden storm. At the seabed, Qianlang came across an unusual writing-brush washer crafted from blue-and-white porcelain. This object gradually recreated the events of Zheng He’s voyage as an imperial envoy to the nations across the southern seas six centuries earlier. The film weaves together exhilarating, fantastical, and romantic sequences, along with heart-stopping maritime dangers and conflicts, as well as deeply moving farewells—all intricately layered, shocking, and emotionally stirring.
