Synopsis
Continues the story of My First Girlfriend is a Gal
After being targeted by a prank from his perverted friends, Junichi Hashiba decides to ask a girl out to prove he is not a hopeless virgin. Though Yukana Yame initially recoils at Junichi's desperate pleas, she begins to bond with him through a series of playful exchanges and eventually agrees to his advances, leaving him utterly shocked. The story follows Junichi's journey as he grapples with his insecurities and restrains his impulses while adapting to a vibrant school setting populated by eccentric personalities and unforeseen events.
In this installment
The school festival is in full swing, with Junichi Hashiba and Yukana Yame's class café packed with patrons. During a brief respite from her duties, Yukana learns of a local legend associated with the festival's after-party. According to the tale, any couple who dances during the last song of the evening will be destined to love each other eternally. But as the rumor circulates, other students plot to stop Junichi and Yukana from sharing this final dance. Will they manage to stay together, or will their plans be thwarted by outside interference?
Background
Hajimete no Gal: Hajimete no Bunkasai was bundled with the limited edition fifth volume release of the Hajimete no Gal manga. The OVA was also included with the Blu-ray and DVD release of Hajimete no Gal by Funimation Entertainment on August 28, 2018.
