In "Girlfriend, Girlfriend," Naoya Mukai rejoices when his long-time friend Saki Saki finally agrees to become his girlfriend after multiple confessions. Committed to nurturing their bond, Naoya dedicates himself to showering Saki with affection. However, his world turns chaotic when Nagisa Minase, who has been planning for months, also confesses her feelings to him. Despite turning down Nagisa, Naoya finds himself captivated by her irresistible charm and persistence. Wanting to satisfy both Saki and Nagisa, Naoya comes up with a bold plan: all three will date each other simultaneously, with complete honesty. This unusual arrangement sparks a series of amusing and bizarre situations as the trio navigates their unique relationship.

In "Girlfriend, Girlfriend Season 2," Naoya Mukai continues his hectic balancing act between his two girlfriends, Saki Saki and Nagisa Minase. Making things more complicated, the lively Rika Hoshizaki also pursues Naoya's attention, adding another layer of difficulty to his already tangled romantic situation. To make matters even more unpredictable, Shino Kiryuu appears with the goal of ending Naoya's double relationship and protecting Saki's happiness. However, Shino harbors hidden feelings for Naoya, which she tries to suppress but finds impossible due to the strong attraction she feels toward him.
