Synopsis

A former baseball player turned troublemaker, Taishi Fura witnesses the ghoul called Lantern injure his old friend and take another life. As the situation escalates, his classmate Kishou Arima steps in, revealing himself as a covert operative for the Commission of Counter Ghoul (CCG), forcing the ghoul to flee. Driven by a desire to avenge his friends, Fura teams up with Arima to hunt down ghouls in the 13th Ward, with the specific goal of confronting Lantern. In Tokyo Ghoul: "Jack", the story explores the early days of the CCG's infamous "Reaper," Kishou Arima, offering a glimpse into his high school years.
