Synopsis

In "Grope: Yami no naka no Kotori-tachi," Fubuki Momose is an athletic high school girl who harbors intense feelings for the reserved Shinichi Kawahara. Though the attraction is mutual, Shinichi has trouble expressing his true emotions. Their situation drastically changes when an earthquake collapses their school, trapping Fubuki, Shinichi, Takaaki Tsumura—Shinichi's flirtatious best friend—and Mizuha Senju, a new arrival who also likes Shinichi, amid the rubble. The group divides into pairs to search for an exit. In this time, Fubuki confesses her love to Shinichi, and he returns her feelings. Yet their emerging romance is cut short when Takaaki accuses Shinichi of sexually assaulting Mizuha. As Fubuki wrestles with these allegations, she falls under Takaaki's influence, leaving Shinichi stranded and unable to defend himself.
