The Asylum Session

Synopsis

In a future plagued by social collapse, the narrative follows Hiyoko, a high school student who aspires to attend art university. Her life is upended when her father attempts to discard her mother's treasured drawings, causing her to flee home. She discovers a hidden slum within a stadium, where she encounters Akira, the leader of a band of homeless children. When authorities plan to raze the stadium as part of a city beautification initiative, the residents unite to defend their home by launching a street art festival dubbed "The Asylum Session." Embracing the challenge, Hiyoko commits herself to painting a massive mural on the stadium walls to preserve their sanctuary.
