Synopsis

In the outwardly peaceful city of Fukuoka, a concealed world of assassins, detectives, and hired enforcers operates beneath the surface. Zenji Banba, an easygoing and sharp-witted detective, investigates the activities of local hitman organizations. Meanwhile, Xianming Lin, a male assassin who crossdresses while working for one of these firms, grows increasingly frustrated over the lack of jobs and poor pay. After Lin's latest target commits suicide before he can complete the assignment, his company refuses to give him even partial payment. Discontented, Lin requests another job and is assigned to eliminate Banba, whom they suspect is interfering with their operations. However, when Banba returns home to find Lin waiting, the hitman holds back from striking. Instead, Lin proposes a partnership, suggesting they collaborate. How will Banba respond to this unusual offer, and what does Lin truly intend for Fukuoka's criminal underworld?
