Synopsis
The Qionghua Sect had its elders forge the Wangshu and Xihe swords, then selected two disciples to wield them in joint cultivation to seal the demon realm and draw upon its vast spiritual energy. This ignited a massive war between humans and demons, causing severe casualties on both sides. Amid the conflict, Su Yu, who carried the Wangshu sword, abandoned the Qionghua Sect's principles and fled with Yun Tianqing. The demons took that chance to escape, and the Qionghua Sect's leader died in the battle. Su Yu and Yun Tianqing were married on Qingluan Peak and had a son, Yun Tianhe. Both parents perished early because their bodies were corrupted by extreme cold. Yun Tianhe was raised in isolation on Qingluan Mountain, unaware of his family's past. The unexpected arrival of Han Lingsha rekindles the old story once more.
