Synopsis

The Digital World, a dimension born from the global network, is home to digital lifeforms known as Digital Monsters, watched over by the supercomputer Yggdrasil. Recently, Yggdrasil has set in motion the X Program, a drastic plan to eliminate all existing Digimon and create a new Digital World reserved for a select few. This initiative endangers the entire Digital World's existence. The X-Digimon, a new breed of Digital Monster, finds itself hunted by the Royal Knights, the Digital World's elite guardians. Following the commands of their master Yggdrasil, the Royal Knights execute Project Ark—a scheme to regenerate the Digital World and birth new Digimon, at the cost of all current digital life. Though pursued relentlessly, the X-Digimon strives to uncover the secret of its own creation and fight for the survival of all Digimon, ultimately sparking a profound transformation in the Digital World.
