Synopsis

Continues the story of 21 Emon

In the year 2018, a boy named 21 Emon aspires to become a space pilot and explore the far reaches of the universe. Coming from a family of hoteliers whose lineage stretches back to the Tokugawa shogunate, he carries a strong sense of responsibility. Since Earth has turned into a major tourist destination for alien visitors, 21 Emon must assist in running his family's inn to prevent it from going bankrupt.

In 2053, 21 Emon, the heir to the historic Tsuzureya hotel who aspires to be a space pilot instead, crash-lands on an unknown planet during a mission. There, 21 Emon discovers a barefoot alien princess in peril, sparking a rescue adventure full of action and romance. This 1992 film, running 40 minutes and produced by Shin-Ei Animation under director Mitsuru Hongo, serves as the finale to the 21 Emon TV series, which is based on Fujiko F. Fujio's manga.
