Synopsis

In Midori Asakusa's view, the world serves as a canvas for boundless creativity. She always carries her sketchbook, filled with detailed drawings that merge her environment with imaginative scenes from her mind. A casual doodle can suddenly become part of a spaceship's hull during an emergency. Her pragmatic best friend, Sayaka Kanamori, frequently brings Asakusa back to reality. Their personalities clash yet complement each other; Asakusa's innocent curiosity contrasts with Kanamori's practical, goal-driven approach. During a chance encounter, Asakusa and Kanamori help aspiring model Tsubame Misuzaki, freeing her from an overly cautious bodyguard. This leads to an immediate bond between Asakusa and Misuzaki, fueled by their shared passion for art and animation. Asakusa excels at creating elaborate backgrounds, while Misuzaki is skilled in figure drawing. Recognizing a potential moneymaking opportunity, Kanamori suggests forming an animation club under the guise of a film club, since the school already has an anime club. Thus begins the trio's ambitious journey to produce captivating animation.
