Synopsis
At sixteen, Princess Anmitsu is a lively tomboy with no interest in romance, much to her parents' dismay. Worried but unable to change her mind, the princess slips away from the castle to experience life among the common people. During her escapade, she becomes friends with a band of children who survive by pickpocketing. Along the way, she meets Senbei, the group's charming leader, and instantly falls for him. But her joy quickly turns to unease when she overhears the children's next scheme: they intend to steal the royal treasures from her own castle. Now Anmitsu must find a way to stop them without letting anyone discover who she really is.
