This Korean animated film centers on Dokgo Tak, a small yet spirited boy from a poor family. Having lost his father, he lives on his own and faces challenges bravely. His longtime friend Bong-gu, always paired with him, undergoes personal growth upon learning he was adopted.
In this installment
In "Dokgo Tak 3: Mound Which Was Taken Back," Dok Go-tak, a skilled player on his elite high school's baseball team, heads to Seoul to visit his uncle. While there, he gets caught up in a hit-and-run accident and develops amnesia. President Kim, who encounters Dok Go-tak without recognizing him, offers medical attention and a job at the Cultural Center restaurant. With no memory of his former life, Dok Go-tak is regarded as a simpleton and kept under surveillance by Kim Joon. Kim Joon, a star athlete at First High School, grows suspicious of the mysterious pitcher his uncle has spoken about—who turns out to be Dok Go-tak. Dok Go-tak's memories unexpectedly return when Kim Joon hits a baseball.
