Synopsis
In a world shattered by the conflict between machines and their makers, the machines now hold dominion while humanity endures in subjugation. The titular Karen commands Resistance Group 11, a motley band of humans struggling to survive as robotic hunters pursue them relentlessly from episode to episode. Does this spell the end of humankind? Are they engaged in a hopeless struggle? Through Karen, the narrative probes the tension between good and evil, between apathy and affection, raising fundamental questions about what it means to be human. Where does a thinking machine differ from a person? And what constitutes a soul?
