Synopsis
Kurumi, a gentle young woman, is devastated after the death of her beloved boyfriend Hal, who perished in a plane crash. She withdraws into a small house, overwhelmed by grief. Her grandfather intervenes by bringing her a humanoid robot named Q01, designed to look just like Hal. Q01 arrives at Kurumi's home with the goal of helping her escape her despair. Though hesitant at first, Kurumi gradually begins to trust and open up to this robotic copy of Hal as he visits her daily and tries to lift her from depression. Yet there is more to this android than meets the eye, and both Kurumi and Hal soon discover an unexpected truth about the bond growing between them.
