Continues the story of Daigo of Fire Company
Daigo Asahina is a new recruit in Medaka Gumi #2, known as Me Gumi, and he quickly catches attention through his risky moves—like throwing people from a rooftop to shield them from a blast. Although his motives are good, his unorthodox methods start harming the unit's reputation. When a fire breaks out at Sengoku City's Concert Hall, even the Emergency Rescue Squad finds itself trapped. Daigo resolves to uphold his pledge: under his care, no one dies.

At the rigorous Tokyo Fire Department's Fire Academy, a talented newcomer, Daigo Toake, distinguishes himself through his exceptional performance in both physical and mental evaluations. His outstanding abilities stir envy in his fellow recruit, Shun Onoda, though Shun also harbors a mix of genuine respect and rivalry, recognizing that their ultimate goal is the same—to save lives. Yuki Nakamura is the only female among the trainees and is fiercely dedicated to demonstrating her capability to compete with her male counterparts in this predominantly male profession. As the paths of these three recruits cross and they face real-life emergencies more harrowing than any training scenario, they learn the true nature of their calling. Despite the harsh realities of their work, the firefighters in their distinctive orange uniforms continue to be a beacon of hope for those in distress.
