Synopsis

In the world of oneiromancy, dreams where dragons appear are thought to warn of the danger of giving in to one's own rage. Following this belief, Souya Kuroi wakes from a terrifying dream in which a massive dragon destroys everything in a blinding flash of rainbow light. Because an unexplained event caused him to lose his parents and his memories, his existence feels like a waking nightmare. With his dream as his only recollection, Souya is taken in by two unusual guardians: the lively and energetic maid Ginko, and a giant cat simply called Sensei. His life is thrown into chaos when a UFO resembling a teddy bear attacks Saromisaka City. Conventional military efforts prove useless against the threat, leading to the appearance of seven mysterious figures who defeat the creature using the same rainbow energy Souya saw in his dream. After the alien threat is eliminated, these seven individuals find themselves facing a new opponent: Souya. Driven by a desire for revenge against those who altered his past, he attacks these self-proclaimed heroes, pulling the conflict into a battle on a cosmic scale.
