Divine Gate

Synopsis

Divine Gate centers on a legendary story told to children about the merging of the living world, heaven, and the underworld. Because of this convergence, beings known as Adapters—who possess unique elemental powers—established the World Council to manage the turmoil tied to the Divine Gate, often dismissing it as mere myth. These Adapters train at a special academy run by the World Council. Aoto, a young man with powerful water abilities and a tragic past, repeatedly turns down invitations to enroll at the academy until the cheerful wind Adapter Midori and the resolute fire Adapter Akane finally persuade him. Together with the World Council and its enigmatic head, Arthur, they set out to find the Divine Gate and uncover its mysteries. Their journey forces them to unite, confronting their own inner conflicts and the hidden schemes that hinder their progress.
