Synopsis

3X3 Eyes follows a young man named Yakumo Fuuji, who through an unusual chain of events ends up as the immortal servant of the last surviving member of a race of three-eyed immortals. This immortal absorbs his soul to preserve his life, granting him immortality as a result. Together, they set out on a journey with the female immortal in hopes of finding a way to become human again. Many obstacles arise along the way, notably the fact that the immortal woman has a split personality—one side is endearingly gentle, while the other wields relentless destructive power—and the romantic tensions that develop between them.

Yakumo spent four years training and searching after Pai's mysterious disappearance. When he finally finds her, something is wrong—she appears to have lost all her memories. In an attempt to restore them, they journey to the Holy Land, the birthplace of the immortal Sanjiyan race.
